Entertainment: Clubbing
The clubs have proven popular with Singapore's party-going crowd and regularly attract performers from all over the world. Its famous Mambo Jambo theme nights are considered a must-go for a beginning clubber.
Zouk has been hosting its very own event ZoukOut since 2000. ZoukOut has also won the Singapore Tourism Board's 'Best Leisure Event Experience' award thrice, between 2005 to 2008. A beach dance party called ZoukOut is organised at Sentosa in December each year. On December 10, 2005, 18,000 people attended the party. ZoukOut 2006 outdone itself once again drawing a record 20,000 party-goers to Sentosa on December 11, 2006.
ZoukOut 2010 featured famous multi-platinum selling artiste with 3 chart-topping albums and a most sought after producer with heavyweight collaborations that blaze through the global airways leaving no survivors in the trail, David Guetta’s reach knows no boundaries. It was a phenomenal event featuring other DJs such as DJ Tiesto as well.
Shopping: Orchard Road
The Orchard Road experience is a lifestyle experience. Today, Orchard Road is regularly frequented by the locals and tourists. It is one of Singapore's biggest tourist draws.
The mall features 8 levels of shopping & dining - 5 above and 3 below ground. There will be two floors of car parking on Levels 6 & 7.
Destination: Singapore Night Safari
There are 2 routes namely the east loop and west loop which totals up to 3.2km of which 2.8km is walkway. The safari park can be explored by the taking the walking route which is the Three Walking Trails or by Tram ride. You will cover 41 exhibits on foot and only 18 exhibits if you take the tram ride. There are also live animal shows available at specific timings and are a must see should you visit the Night Safari.
There are still some ways which you can make your experience at the Night Safari more enjoyable:
1) Bring an umbrella or raincoat as he rain is sometimes unexpected to its better to be prepared.
2) Bring along insect repellent to make sure that mosquitoes and other creepy crawlies really stay away although there are some measures taken to keep them at bay.
3)An ample supply of water and drinks are available at the stores as well.
4)Appropriate footwear(shoes) are recommended.
5) Lastly, you can approach any of the service staff and they will be more than happy to attend to your queries.
To round things off if it is your birthday, just present any form of identification and you get to enter for FREE! You also receive discounts and vouchers from various retail and FnB outlets.
The Singapore Night Safari is a must see when visiting Singapore not only for its species of animals but also the shows, gifts,FnB and more. No wonder it has almost 1.1 million visitors every year!

Where is Singapore?
Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is an island country off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 137km north of the Equator, in Southeast Asia. It is separated from Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to its north, and from Indonesia's Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to its south. Singapore is the world's fourth leading financial centre and a cosmopolitan world city.
Why Singapore?
Singapore is a popular travel destination. Attractions such as the Integrated Resorts that are developed at Marina South and Sentosa in 2005. To compete with regional rivals like Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Shanghai, the government has announced that the city area would be transformed into a more exciting place by lighting up the civic and commercial buildings. Food has also been promoted as an attraction for tourists, with the Singapore Food Festival held every July to celebrate Singapore's cuisine. Other annual events in Singapore include the Singapore Sun Festival, the Christmas Light Up, and the Singapore Jewel Festival.
Not only that, Singapore is currently promoting itself as a medical tourism hub: about 200,000 foreigners seek medical care in the country each year, and Singapore medical services aim to serve one million foreign patients annually by 2012 and generate USD 3 billion in revenue. The government states that this could create some 13,000 new jobs within the health industries.
Singapore is a shopping haven too! With new shopping malls that are recently developed like 313@Somerset, ION Orchard, Paragon. Shopping has become one of the greatest highlight in Singapore.
